Frequently Asked Questions

As a paperless office, Antora CPA utilizes an online client portal to exchange tax returns, source documents, and other sensitive information. You will receive an invitation by email and create a unique username and password. Your privacy is important to me. I do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about clients or former clients to anyone, except as requested by clients or as required by law. I maintain safeguards protect your personal information. There are some inherent risks with exchanging e-mails and electronic documents. Please protect yourself by complying with the use of the portals.

How do we exchange information securely?

What INFORMATION do you need from me?

A quick, convenient questionnaire and document checklist are within the client portal. After our first year working together, your document checklist will be personalized based on forms you received in the past. I always request a copy of the previous two years of tax returns as well as all taxpayers’ driver’s licenses, which is a filing security measure. For clients receiving bookkeeping services, I need either business bank account logins or monthly bank statements.

How do I pay you? Can I pay you from my tax refund?

Clients enrolled in annual packages receive a 5% discount if paid up front. Invoices are delivered by email through Square which can be paid by credit card, debit card, or e-check. Month-to-month billing requires enrollment of direct debit. Invoices must be paid in full prior to the filing of tax returns. Pay by refund is not available at this time.

Can I get references?

Please let me know if you would like to speak with a current client to learn more about my services and I will connect you with someone. Be sure to check out Antora CPA’s Google reviews and testimonials.
